Quick answer
Arkham has free explorer features, but not unrestricted free professional access.
Its Enterprise FAQ says pricing is set per team, while the public request form discloses $1,500 USD monthly charges after an approved trial.
That disclosure is not a universal quote for every team.
Separately, classic API subscriptions are custom-built and start at $100; x402 is pay-per-request at $0.20 per credit.

Arkham pricing: separate three buying decisions
The Enterprise page, API access guide and x402 guide describe different commercial paths.
A free signup button cannot establish API access or unrestricted investigation tools.
This is a documentation-only review checked October 31, 2026. We did not request access, enter payment details, execute paid API requests or test an account. StalkChain publishes this guide and sells a competing data product.
| Surface | Public pricing evidence | Important boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Free web features | Selected features remain free | Not all professional workflows |
| Enterprise | Team quotes; request form discloses $1,500/month after trial | Confirm your own offer and renewal terms |
| Classic API | Custom usage-based subscriptions start at $100 | Actual allowance and overage require plan terms |
| x402 API | $0.20 per credit | Separate USDC pay-per-request path |
What stays free, and what moved into Enterprise?
The Enterprise FAQ lists explorer pages, the block explorer, tags, predicted labels, Visualizer and prediction markets as free. Free accounts can view dashboards and have limited email and Telegram alerts.
Filtering and sorting, and creating cases, traces, labels, entities and dashboards, are described as Enterprise features. Alert filters remain free. Existing user-created items have specific retention and read-only rules; do not assume old access remains unchanged.
Read both the team-quote FAQ and the charge disclosure
The same page says pricing is set per team and describes a 14-day trial. Its request form states that an approved trial is free, followed by $1,500 USD per month, renewing until cancellation. It says to cancel before trial end to avoid the first charge.
These statements must be read together. The public disclosure is material evidence of a paid conversion, not proof that every Enterprise contract costs exactly $1,500. Confirm your selected use case, team quote, trial approval and renewal consent before proceeding.
Classic API: allowance plus possible overage
The access guide describes custom subscriptions starting at $100, with usage-based monthly credit allowances and tailored proposals. It does not give a universal allowance for that starting figure.
The credit-pricing guide distinguishes fixed per-call costs from costs per returned row. Subscription overage can continue after the included allowance unless a spending limit stops it.
Set an overage cap and usage cap before running an automated loop. The documentation warns that checks occur every few seconds, so bursts near a limit can slightly exceed it. Treat a cap as a control with documented behavior, not a tested zero-overshoot guarantee.
x402 bills a different row quantity
Arkham's x402 documentation quotes $0.20 per credit. For per-row endpoints, the charge uses the requested limit, even if fewer rows return. Classic per-row API pricing instead uses returned rows.
Three discovery endpoints are zero-price but require a wallet signature. An agent-compatible payment path is not evidence of a separately priced MCP subscription. This review did not sign a request or make a payment.
When StalkChain is a relevant alternative
Arkham's entity labels and tracing tools suit investigations. StalkChain's REST API describes trader-wallet, PnL and thesis research, while MCP access supports an AI-client workflow. Neither is a promise of feature parity.
Compare the needed operation in the tool reference, then inspect current StalkChain pricing. For the underlying analytical method, use the wallet-tracking guide before treating a label or historic return as a trading signal.
FAQ
Is Arkham completely free?
No. Selected explorer features remain free, while the Enterprise page gates professional creation and filtering workflows. API access has separate commercial terms.
Does every Enterprise team pay $1,500 monthly?
The public request form discloses that monthly charge after an approved trial, but the FAQ also says pricing is set per team. Obtain the actual offer; do not universalize the form disclosure.
Is the classic API starting price the Enterprise web price?
No. The API access guide's $100 starting figure concerns custom API subscriptions, not a universal Enterprise web contract.
Final checklist
- Separate free web, Enterprise, classic API and x402 requirements.
- Read the team quote and trial-to-paid disclosure together.
- Confirm cancellation and renewal terms before trial approval.
- Obtain API allowances and overage rates in writing.
